TALiNT Benchmark Programme 2021
Travel and Tourism
In 2020, 62 million jobs were lost globally in the travel and tourism sector (Economic Impact Report – World Travel & Tourism Council). This is transformational for the sector, scaling back resource to remain viable in full knowledge that they will have to ramp up very quickly as their market begins to recover.
Of course, top talent will not be idle in the meantime and many highly skilled workers will seek roles in other sector where possible. As borders begin to open and travel plans resume, employers in travel and tourism may need to compete for the best candidates in a global marketplace.
How competitive is your employee proposition and your candidate journey?
The TALiNT Benchmark is a rigorous review tool covering the core elements of your TA strategy from planning to delivery and evaluation. Benchmark participants can use the results to assess the maturity of their talent solution, isolate areas of challenge, and identify priorities for continuous improvement projects to meet the needs of their stakeholders.
TALiNT Partners can also produce tailored analysis of your results against a cohort of other employers in the Travel and Tourism Sector, identifying how you compare and where you excel.

“I like the style of the questions; they are pitched at the right level, but the assessment is simple to use. The metrics are valid and overall I think it’s a refreshing change.”
Craig Morgans, Head of Talent Acquisition, HR Shared Services, Learning & Development, AA
“The assessments were straight forward and certainly made me think! There’s obviously some areas which we’re very good at, but by completing the assessment it’s already clarified we still have some areas for development – both as a team and an organisation.”
Jeff Uden, Head of Talent, Iceland
“TALiNT Partners’ Benchmark Programme has been an important tool in prioritising our TA strategy. The range and depth of the questions helps create quality debate and discussion within the team. Its facility to now help me understand how we compare to other organisations within our sector makes it even more valuable.”
